Week 3 - DDP Yoga Challenge 2023

Week 3 Progress Sunday, 1/22: Took day off... body needed a reset. Monday, 1/23: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Energy 2.0 Tuesday, 1/24: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Stand Up With Big G! Wednesday, 1/25: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Fat Burner 2.0 Thursday, 1/26 : Red Hot Core 2.0 & Synergy 40 Friday, 1/27: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Fat Burner 2.0 Saturday, 1/28: Hot Chili ----- Favorite Position : Frankenstein.... I really love balancing poses. Like, a lot! Disliked Position (still Number 1!!) : Butterfly. So much for positivity, right? ----- Improvements: Well... I'm officially bored with Energy 2.0. Using the heart monitor, it barely gets my bpm up into the 'zone', so I'm going to focus on next-level workouts, whenever Energy 2.0 comes up on the program feed. I'm actually kinda proud of myself for that one. :) Next... had fun trying a couple different workouts... and despite a couple moves being 'new' to me that eventually need practice... I got bored with those, too....

Week 2 - DDP Yoga Challenge 2023

Week 2 Progress Sunday, 1/15 : Synergy 40 Monday, 1/16: Fat Burner 2.0 Tuesday, 1/17: Took a break today...  Wednesday, 1/18: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Energy 2.0 Thursday, 1/19: A Bit of Everything Friday, 1/20: Red Hot Core 2.0 & Fat Burner 2.0 Saturday, 1/21 : Synergy 40 ------ Favorite Position: Alligator Disliked Position: Butterfly - getting better at it, but it still hurts like a bitch.    Improvements: Significant. My time-of-the-month was this week... which is usually a brutal experience. However... I had quite a bit of energy to go about each day and didn't feel like I was being held back by menstruation/pms issues... at all! Lower back is doing loads better. My knee feels like it's getting back some strength in it. Looking forward to whenever the weather clears up so I can go out for more long walks. Issues: Working up the courage to do longer workout sessions, as well as pacing it throughout the day, since I'm spending so much time at home... being unem...

What the Health? - Film Review...

Well.. this was a definite eye opener.  I have a friend who's recommended this to me in the recent past, so I gave it a go. Found it off Netflix. I think you can also find full-length videos for free, off Youtube, if you don't have a Netflix subscription. Trailer is down below... Anywho.   I hate to say it... but everything that was brought up here made a lot of sense. Type 2 Diabetes runs in both sides of my family... so, this one hits home for me. Over the years, I've worked at my diet to eliminate the majority of processed foods. This includes meat and where it was processed at. And... with the filthy farming practices that keep on breeding diseased animals that's meant for mass consumption... it really is better to just keep this crap out of your body. Literally... for your own safety. Two years ago, I took all dairy out of my diet and ultimately discovered that I have a full-blown allergy. I was also finally able to lose weight that I was struggling to get rid...

Week 1 - DDP Yoga Challenge 2023

Week 1 Progress Sunday, 1/8 : Red Hot Core 2.0 & Energy 2.0 Monday, 1/9 : Diamond Dozen & Red Hot Core 2.0 Tuesday, 1/10 : Red Hot Core 2.0 & Energy 2.0 Wednesday, 1/11 : Day off...brain farted. Got overwhelmed. Thursday, 1/12 :  Day off... still needed to recuperate  Friday, 1/13 : Red Hot Core 2.0 & Energy 2.0 Saturday, 1/14 : Synergy 40  ----- Favorite Position: Dead Bug Disliked Position: Butterfly Improvements : At beginning of week, lower back had been super tense and hard to sit on without some pain. Now... no pain. Definitely less strain. It's quite lovely. I should've started this sooner!  Issues: Need to work on consistency. I admit to feeling a bit overwhelmed with starting this all out and taking in just what I needed  ----- Diet : Intermittent Fasting. Going strong! Go anywhere between 9-12 hour feeding periods, while typically fasting from mid-evening until mid-morning. This is a daily venture, unless I feel like taking a break, l...

Relentless - Film Review...

This was really cool. I like everything about this. It is inspiring seeing how the creator of this program went through his own struggles, overcame those, and turned it all into something rather wonderful for everyone around him. Diamond Dallas Page and his whole team seriously kick ass! I'm glad I caught onto this program awhile back and have kept it in my life, especially now.  What I really enjoyed about this... was seeing DDP go for his last showdown on WWE, right before COVID hit. Despite his worries... the man still owned it! Inspirational!! Makes me smile when I think about it. Too cool for words. On a personal note... age should never be a restriction on what we can/cannot do. My Dad is now in his early 70s, and goes running several miles a couple times a week. He didn't start running seriously until less than a decade ago! That man can kick my ass, no matter how much I try to outrun him. Heh heh... Below, I got a link to the whole documentary, as well as a preview fo...
